A very warm welcome to Chalermkarnchana College with four beautiful campuses for the lively and healthy learning experience that awaits you. The development of our five different campuses with an attractive and impressive appearance would require more time to plan and build our institution to meet our educational objectives and promote experiential learning and an adventure of discovery in preparation for life and careers in the 21st century. I am also personally delighted to welcome to our College two of the foremost popular stars in Thailand, Pinky and Nam, who are our students’ favorite TV and movie stars. Both Pinky and Nam have been very helpful to offer some perspectives on making the most of your educational experience here and have contributed to the life and spirit of Chalermkarnchana. Our College is moving towards becoming a unique knowledge institution. The Chalermkarnchana experience helps students realize their full potential and prepare them for an increasingly innovation-driven economy in building a future of excellence. Our newly designed building with wide-ranging support services and resources will enrich our campus life and community so that students will get a flavor of our exciting and invigorating educational environment in order to gain a sense of the rich cultural, recreational and social opportunities on our campus. Dr Sucheeraporn Tuvanon President, Chalermkarnchana College History: CHALERMKARNCHANA COLLEGE situated at 99 Moo 6 Tumbon Por Amphur Mueng , Si Sa Ket Province, was founded on 7 September 2005 with the vision to produce well rounded graduates with professional skills, creative thinking, and human relationship ability through carefully selected educational programs that offer students an opportunity to achieve their full potential. With the philosophy of “Building A Future of Excellence” and the mission to strengthen sustainable development in the community. CHALERMKARNCHANA strives to be the center of learning and a source of knowledge and understanding of local wisdom in the social context for the preservation of culture in the North-East of Thailand. The approach to learning and knowledge is based on methods that students learn to integrate various subjects to derive the benefits of understanding and applying knowledge from different disciplines. As we continue on our journey towards bringing quality education that is affordable because Chalermkarnchana College is committed to the development of its communities and will continue to nurture students that are not only academically outstanding, but also of good moral character to support the development of the North-East and the surrounding provinces under the Philosophy of Self-Sufficiency and Sustainable Development. CHALERMKARNCHANA COLLEGE is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education, Ministry of Education in Thailand, to offer courses leading to the Bachelor's and Master’s Degrees in various programs such as Nursing, Education, Law, Political Science, Business Administration and Accounting. CHALERMKARNCHANA has two colleges with four different campuses. The original campus is in Si SA Ket Province and two new campuses are in Buri Ram Province and Surin Province to serve the North-East region. A separate institution, CHALERMKARNCHANA COLLEGE in Rayong Province which is in the Eastern Seaboard of Thailand, an emerging economic region that plays a key role in Thailand's economy in export oriented industries. The Symbol of Chalermkarnchana College is composed of the “Crown” meaning an excellence reward in academic and professional skills as well as virtues of reason and moral value. The outside ring that surrounds the Symbol has the philosophy of “BUILDING A FUTURE OF EXCELLENCE” Philosophy: “BUILDING A FUTURE OF EXCELLENCE” is our student-centered learning philosophy that has been adopted to focus on the needs of the learners for the preparation to pursue an educated profession. Preservation of art and culture and conservation of our religious and cultural heritage The above mission is in line with the National, Economic and Social Development Plan to foster innovation, and apply knowledge towards social, economic and national development, for the betterment of the Northeastern society. Chalermkarnchana College is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education, Ministry of Education in Thailand. Students can choose from 8 baccalaureate programs and 2 graduate programs at four different campuses. Admissions Students applying for admission to Chalermkarnchana College must submit an application form available from the Admissions Office. All necessary supporting materials should be on file with the Admissions Office before the opening of a semester or term. Required Application Materials: 1. Completed application for admission including the application fee. 2. An official transcript sent directly from the student’s high school. 3. Applicants can provide an immunization record signed by a physician. Many students pursue student aid opportunities to make college more affordable. In fact, approximately 50% of Chalermkarnchana students receive financial assistance in the form of grants, loans, student employment, and/or academic scholarships.
